Forest Garden Shovelstrode offers a unique woodland setting for corporate team building and wellness days in Sussex, combining nature, fresh air and meaningful activities that help teams reconnect, refocus and work better together.
Located on the edge of Ashdown Forest, our eco-retreat provides sleeping accommodation in luxury off-grid log cabins and traditional yurts for groups of 6 people in individual units or up to 14 twin share.
Whether your aim is strategic thinking, team bonding or giving your staff time to decompress, our woodland environment creates the perfect backdrop for productive, restorative corporate retreats.

We design team experiences around your objectives, offering a wide range of woodland-based and off-site activities. Your group can focus on skill development, well-being, or a mix of both.

Facilities
Our woodland workshop provides an open-air meeting and activity space of approx 75 sqm, complete with an open fire pit, for cooking, soup making or evening gatherings. Each yurt and cabin is fully equipped for self-catering, or catering can be arranged through the Forest Garden cafe.
Additional facilities include;
- Wood-fired pizza oven
- BBQ area with 7m x 4m party tent
- Badminton, boules, croquet and quoites
- Access to Ashdown Forest for walks and hikes
