Kids can run freely across the lawns, discover hidden corners of the gardens and enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of this beautiful Arts & Crafts estate. It's a great spot for a picnic, tea and cake, or a gentle afternoon wander.

BOWLES ROCKS

Rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding & kayaking

If your children love adventure, Bowles Rocks is a brilliant day out. Just under half an hour away, it offers rock climbing, dry slope skiing, snowboarding and kayaking - all in one place. Sessions should be booked in advance, especially during weekends and holidays.

Godstone Farm is under 30 minutes from our woodland cabins and offers a full day of family entertainment. Feed the animals, explore the outdoor play areas and enjoy a relaxed day in the countryside. If you’d like to take something home for grandparents, Tablehurst Community Farm (just down the road) sells excellent biodynamic meats and produce.

HEVER CASTLE AND GARDENS

History, hide and seek & beautiful family walks

Only 20 minutes away, Hever Castle is a fantastic family outing. Children love exploring the castle's nooks and crannies, playing hide and seek in the gardens and discovering the lakes, lawns and flower-filled pathways. Adults can enjoy a peaceful stroll while the kids burn off energy.
