INSIDE THE ACCOMMODATION
Please always remove shoes and boots inside your accommodation. Tea lights and candles in lanterns are provided but we ask all guests to be careful at all times when lighting and blowing out candles. Children must NEVER be allowed to play with the candles or to light them. Please do not put anything at all on top of the log burning stoves. The top of the stove gets very hot and can burn hands – particularly of unsupervised children. If a fire guard is required, please request this in advance by email.
Please do not smoke in any of the accommodation
We have a large deep pond, 2.5M deep. This is not for swimming or playing nearby. The pond is clearly visitble and has been roped off although it has soft banks and so we ask all guests to exercise extreme caution. This is NOT a play area for children, who must at all times be accompanied by an adult. There are 2 life buoys positioned at either side of the pond. In case of emergency please call 07956 815458 or 07957 621672
Campfires must only be made in the designated fire-pits and extreme care should be taken at all times. No children should be left unattended with campfires, or log burners/gas stoves in the yurts or log cabins. In times of high winds - we insist that campers refrain from using campfires. No fireworks or Chinese lanterns under any circumstances. There is a bucket of water and a bucket of sand if required for the fire pits. The accommodation also has a fire extinguisher inside the front door with emergency instructions. In the event of a fire getting ‘out of control’ - please evacuate immediately and telephone 07956 815458 or 07957 621 672 and then assemble by the pond.
