I find it very strange to still be picking tomatoes off my plants in the greenhouse, in November! But then it's been an abnormal year. So with this constant supply of tomatoes I have been busy chopping, slicing, boiling and simmering to produce my Harvest chutney. With the marrows that I have kept back, mixed in with green tomatoes, sultanas, onions, figs, apples and a muslin bag of spices, the house is full of the aroma of freshly bottled chutney. The shop is now replenished and jars of this along with a fresh batch of crab apple and thyme jelly, blackcurrant jam, honey and many other options are all available to purchase from our Cafe or on line.
