We are located between East Grinstead and Forest Row in Sussex, making us an ideal rural space situated not too far from London, Brighton and surrounding cities.

Location Information
There’s no better feeling than landing in the perfect woodland location, and we believe that our site has a lot to offer for your creative shoot.
At Forest Garden Shovelgrove, we have a 6 acre site that includes 3.5 acres of ancient woodland available to hire, our unique 0.75 acre Forest Garden which is home to our large wildlife pond.
If your shoot is particularly large scale, we have available access for trucks up to 7.5t and car parking for up to 15 cars.
We have catering options available for you and your team, making your woodland location hire as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Should you require an overnight stay, we offer accomodation in the form of yurts and cabins.
Facilities
As well as the rural location hire, our site has a variety of other facilities available which may be of good use in your professional shoot. These include:
- Kitchen 3.5m x 3.5m (in old renovated stable building) – with gas cooker, fridge and freezer available for catering
- Outside seating area 8m x 4.5m with tables and chairs up to approx 20 people – can be covered if required
- Cafe 3.5m x 4m
- Wood fired clay oven
- Outside woodland workshop. Canvas covered area approx 90sqm. Complete with pole lathes & shave horses which can be moved
- Large fire-pit
- Barn 5m x 6m – green woodwork tools
- Office 3.5m x 3.5m with broadband can be utilised as additional admin space, hair/make room
- 2 x 6m diameter Yurts (Sleeps 2 & 4)
- 4 x Log Cabins 6.4 x 3.7m (Sleeps 4)
- Small Log Cabin 2.6 x 1.5m (Sleeps 1)
- Wild camping – 4 pitches available
- 2 x Unisex WC’s & Showers
- Space beside pond for marquee 9m x18m
Natural and Rural Props
Our woodland area that is available to hire is the habitat of many wonderful flora and fauna, including Ash, Oak, Hazel, Birch and Poplar to name a few.
We also have old iron pits in the woods where you can also find bluebells, wild orchids, wild garlic and daffodils.
Should you require and rural style props, we can offer old French haywain, beehives, wheelbarrows, woodland crafts equipment and tools.
